Layar.id – Nominasi untuk Golden Globe Awards yang ke-80 telah diumumkan pada hari Senin (12/12) lalu. Perhelatan akbar ini akan digelar di Beverly Hilton, California, Amerika Serikat pada 10 Januari 2023.
Golden Globe Awards akan disiarkan melalui Peacock dan komedian Jerrod Carmichael yang akan menjadi pemandu acara bergengsi ini.
Nominasi diumumkan oleh Mayan Lopez dan Selenis Leyva, bersama Helen Hoehne, presiden Hollywood Foreign Press Association(HFPA)
Pemilihan nominasi melibatkan 96 anggota HFPA, 103 pemilih internasional yang terdiri atas para jurnalis, organisasi industri internasional, dan festival film asing terkenal, yang mewakili 62 negara.
Untuk kategori film, nominasi terbanyak diperoleh oleh The Banshees of Inisherin yang mendapatkan 8 nominasi, diikuti Everything Everywhere All at Once dengan 6 nominasi, serta Babylon dan The Fabelmans masing-masing mendapatkan 5 nominasi.
Sementara untuk acara televisi, penerima nominasi terbanyak adalah Abbott Elementary dengan 5 nominasi, The Crown dengan 4 nominasi, dan Dahmer sebanyak 4 nominasi.
